Da Inphamus Amadeuz Drops “Posted On The Block” Featuring Shortee Sha & Sos Bishop

The Road to The Punchline Playbook: Lesson 2 Begins

Da Inphamus Amadeuz is back with another dose of gritty New York hip hop on his new single “Posted On The Block,” featuring Shortee Sha and Sos Bishop.

Built around that raw boom bap foundation, “Posted On The Block” puts the focus where it belongs—hard drums, street energy and straight bars. Shortee Sha and Sos Bishop bring two different styles to the record, attacking the production with the hunger and authenticity that have become trademarks of music coming from The Punchline Academy camp.

The single is part of the official rollout for the next The Punchline Academy album, The Punchline Playbook: Lesson 2, scheduled to arrive Friday, October 23.

The Next Lesson Is Coming

Lesson 2 follows 2025’s The Punchline Playbook: Lesson 1, which was fully produced by Da Inphamus Amadeuz and featured appearances from Onyx, Styles P, G. Dep, Canibus, Tahmell and more. (UndergroundHipHopBlog.com)

That first project established the formula: elite lyricists over production rooted in traditional boom bap. “Posted On The Block” shows that the next chapter isn’t moving away from that foundation.

It’s doubling down on it.

Da Inphamus Amadeuz Keeps Building

As an artist, producer, DJ, filmmaker and entrepreneur, Da Inphamus Amadeuz continues building on both sides of the microphone. His production catalog includes collaborations with artists including Styles P, Kurupt and G. Dep, while releases like “Copy My Style” with Copywrite and “Return Of An Outlaw” featuring E.D.I. Mean, Mack Mason and Rah Tha Ruler have continued his 2026 run. (dainphsmusamadeuz)

He’s also the host of The Punchline Academy on Shade 45, a platform that has now surpassed 100 million views across all platforms through interviews, freestyles, the Lyric League Series and original music. (The Punchline Academy)

With “Posted On The Block,” the next lesson has officially started.

The Punchline Playbook: Lesson 2 arrives October 23.

The Punchline Academy Kentucky Cypher at Historic Lyric Theatre

The Punchline Academy’s Lyric League Series touched down in Lexington, Kentucky, and this stop represented much more than another cypher. This one was about bars, community, and Black music history.

For the Lexington edition, The Punchline Academy connected with Devine Carama, who helped bring together some of the city’s hungry MCs before taking the series to the historic Lyric Theatre in Lexington’s East End.

With the cameras rolling outside a building that has played an important role in the city’s Black cultural history, Lexington’s spittaz stepped up and put Kentucky lyricism on full display.

From the Chitlin’ Circuit to the Lyric League

The Lyric Theatre opened in 1948 and became an important cultural and entertainment destination for Lexington’s Black community during segregation. The venue was also part of the historic Chitlin’ Circuit, a network of clubs and theaters that provided Black entertainers with places to perform during the Jim Crow era.

Over the years, the Lyric welcomed legendary entertainers including Ray Charles, B.B. King, Count Basie, James Brown, Tina Turner, and many more.

Nearly eight decades later, hip hop added another chapter to that story.

The Punchline Academy pulled up outside the historic building with a new generation of MCs ready to represent Lexington through bars.

Devine Carama Brings Lexington Together

With Devine Carama helping assemble the lineup and an original beat produced by Da Inphamus Amadeuz setting the soundtrack, the artists went to work.

Punchlines. Wordplay. Different flows. No gimmicks.

That’s exactly what the Lyric League Series was created to showcase.

The Lexington stop also continues The Punchline Academy’s nationwide expansion, bringing its cameras directly into communities instead of waiting for artists to come to the studio.

With 100 million+ views across all platforms, the movement continues growing city by city.

But Lexington felt different.

From the Chitlin’ Circuit to the Lyric League Series, generations may have changed—but the tradition of Black music, creativity, and expression continues.

The Punchline Academy Gets Its Own Mural in the Bronx

From the Airwaves to the Wall

The Punchline Academy has officially been immortalized in the Bronx with a new mural painted by graffiti artist Jaek El Diablo.

For a platform built around preserving hip hop culture, having its name represented through graffiti in the birthplace of hip hop carries a different kind of meaning. The mural connects two elements of the culture—MCing and graffiti—while marking another milestone in The Punchline Academy’s continued growth.

Created by Jaek El Diablo, the piece brings The Punchline Academy brand to life through street art, giving the platform a permanent visual presence in the Bronx.

Keeping Hip Hop Culture Connected

The mural fits naturally with what The Punchline Academy has been building. Hosted by Da Inphamus Amadeuz, alongside Tone Viera and Mrz Get@Em, the Shade 45 show has grown beyond the traditional radio format through interviews, freestyles, original music, live broadcasts and its nationwide Lyric League Series.

The Lyric League concept has been especially connected to the streets. Instead of waiting for artists to enter a studio, The Punchline Academy pulls directly into neighborhoods and creates cyphers where the artists actually come from. (The Punchline Academy)

100 Million Views and Growing

The Bronx mural also arrives during a major period for the platform. The Punchline Academy has surpassed 100 million views across all platforms, while continuing to expand its presence through Shade 45, digital content, live events and music. (Dain Phamus Amadeuz)

Over the years, the show has featured interviews and performances from respected names throughout hip hop while providing a bridge between legendary artists and the next generation of MCs. Its growing archive now spans interviews, freestyles, Lyric League cyphers, new music and Corner Chronicles. (Dain Phamus Amadeuz)

Now The Punchline Academy can add something else to that journey:

Its name painted on a Bronx wall.

For a platform dedicated to real hip hop, it doesn’t get much more fitting than that.

And the run just got bigger.

The Punchline Academy has officially added Houston, Texas, on Monday, August 17, for another Lyric League Series cypher. Four events. Three Texas markets. One week.

Meanwhile, the platform continues expanding through weekly Shade 45 broadcasts, exclusive interviews and freestyles, the Left Lane Mix, original music, and live events across the country.

The Punchline Academy Takes Over Eminem’s Mom’s Spaghetti With Kuniva and Detroit’s Elite Lyricists

Detroit Showed Up for the Bars

The Punchline Academy brought the Lyric League Series to one of hip hop’s most recognizable locations—Eminem’s Mom’s Spaghetti in downtown Detroit—and the city absolutely delivered.

For this special edition, Kuniva of D12 helped assemble a stacked lineup of Detroit’s finest, turning the restaurant into the backdrop for one of the most memorable cyphers of the tour. With a crowd gathering around and cameras rolling, the artists wasted no time proving why Detroit remains one of hip hop’s strongest lyrical cities.
From the first verse to the final bar, every emcee came with something to prove.

Kuniva Brings the City Together

A major reason this cypher came together was Kuniva, one of the founding members of the legendary group D12. After helping put Detroit on the global hip hop map alongside Eminem, Proof, Bizarre, Swifty McVay, and Mr. Porter, Kuniva has continued to represent the city through solo projects, collaborations, and by supporting the next generation of artists.
Known for his sharp lyricism, consistency, and longevity, Kuniva remains one of Detroit’s most respected voices. His involvement in the Lyric League Series brought authenticity to the event while creating an opportunity for local talent to showcase their skills on a national platform.

A Cypher to Remember

The lineup featured a collection of hungry lyricists, including Guilty Simpson, Quest Mcody, Hush, and several of Detroit’s rising spitters, creating a cypher packed with heavyweight bars and unforgettable moments. The energy throughout the session reflected everything that makes Detroit hip hop special—competitive, authentic, and deeply rooted in lyricism.

The Movement Keeps Growing

The Detroit takeover is another major stop on The Punchline Academy’s nationwide Lyric League Series Tour, which continues bringing the radio to the streets one city at a time.
With more than 100 million views across all platforms, The Punchline Academy continues to spotlight legendary artists, rising talent, and the communities that keep hip hop culture alive.

Real bars. Legendary locations. One unforgettable Detroit moment.

Jungle Brothers Talk New Album, Hip Hop’s Golden Era & Their Lasting Legacy on The Punchline Academy

A Conversation With Hip Hop Pioneers

Hip hop history was in the building as The Punchline Academy welcomed the legendary Jungle Brothers for an exclusive interview covering their new album Concrete Jungle, their influence on the culture, and what it was like helping shape the Golden Era of hip hop.

Hosted by Da Inphamus Amadeuz, the conversation offered fans a chance to hear directly from one of the groups that helped redefine alternative hip hop while laying the foundation for generations of artists that followed.

The Story Behind Concrete Jungle

During the interview, the Jungle Brothers discussed the making of Concrete Jungle, their latest project that continues the group’s tradition of blending thoughtful lyricism, positive messages, and creative production.

Rather than chasing today’s trends, the album stays true to the sound and principles that made the group stand out from the very beginning. It’s another chapter in a career built on originality, creativity, and staying authentic to the culture.

Reflecting on the Golden Era

The conversation also looked back at the late 1980s and early 1990s, when the Jungle Brothers helped lead one of hip hop’s most influential movements.

Alongside A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul, the group became founding members of the legendary Native Tongues collective, helping introduce a new sound built around positivity, jazz-influenced production, and lyrical creativity. Classic records like “Straight Out the Jungle,” “I’ll House You,” and “Because I Got It Like That” helped establish them as true pioneers of hip hop.

A Legacy That Still Matters

More than three decades later, the Jungle Brothers continue creating music while inspiring new generations of artists around the world.

Their appearance on The Punchline Academy is another example of the platform’s commitment to preserving hip hop history by giving legendary artists a space to tell their stories in their own words.

From discussing Concrete Jungle to reflecting on their remarkable legacy, the interview serves as a reminder that true pioneers never stop influencing the culture they helped create.

New York Energy on Full Display

The Upper West Side has always been part of New York City’s rich cultural landscape, and the cypher captured that energy from beginning to end.

There were no gimmicks. No distractions. Just hard bars over boom bap production, artists feeding off one another’s energy, and a crowd reacting in real time. That’s what has made the Lyric League Series different since day one.
